Serving Northern Colorado & the Boulder Corridor

ARTFULLY DESIGNED KITCHENS WHERE EVERY CHOICE AND EVERY CORNER CULTIVATES CONNECTIONS AND JOY.

KITCHEN

05

We bridge the gap between rigorous construction and intentional design, from historic Old Town restorations to modern Front Range estates.

Kitchens represent the most complex intersections of form and utility in a dwelling. At Forge & Bow, we do not simply remodel. We re-engineer these spaces to align with the way you move and create. Our design-build process integrates architectural planning with precision building for homes throughout the Fort Collins and Boulder corridor, ensuring that every kitchen renovation is as durable as it is visually resonant.

The Intersection of Grit & Artistry

The forge of a kitchen begins with its structural integrity. We specialize in complex layout overhauls such as removing load-bearing barriers or optimizing flow for modern Northern Colorado living. By applying rigorous building science to every kitchen renovation from Fort Collins to the Boulder corridor, we ensure the structure of the space supports the ambitious design to follow.

Cabinetry serves as the visual and tactile anchor of the kitchen. Our approach to millwork transcends mere functionality as we curate hand-selected woods and custom-integrated storage that act as a deeper narrative of your lifestyle. From rift-sawn white oak to tailored walnut finishes, our artisans bring a level of thoughtful precision to custom cabinets that typical contractors cannot replicate. Our interior designers work in tandem with our builders to ensure cabinetry is not just a feature, but a structural extension of the room.

The bow is found in the final, refined interplay of textures, colors, and forms. We guide you through a meticulous selection of natural stone, architectural metals, and artisan tile to create an immersive experience that resonates. Whether sourcing for a historic Old Town bungalow or a Front Range contemporary estate, we prioritize materials that age with character and withstand the utility of daily life. We manage the procurement of rare and high-performance materials, ensuring the aesthetic vision is never compromised by the realities of the supply chain.

The Front Range Corridor

Our work is defined by the unique architectural heritage of the Front Range. While our studio is rooted in Fort Collins, our design-build teams are active in the high-end residential enclaves of Boulder, Niwot, and Longmont. We bring the same disciplined approach to new builds in Timnath and Windsor, ensuring every kitchen we touch is a testament to enduring craft. The Seminole Residence / Structural Reconfiguration

This project serves as a study in balancing historic craftsman roots with modern structural utility. We performed a complete layout reconfiguration, opening the ceiling to expose the beams and adding skylights to dramatically expand the sense of volume and natural light. The design is defined by a striking contrast of materials, from the custom black cabinetry and handmade copper range hood to the geometric white herringbone backsplash. A large butcher block island anchors the space, providing a warm communal center that balances the grit of the professional-grade construction with the artistry of intentional, curated design.

Project schedules are determined by the scope of work and how different areas of the home relate to one another. As a general guideline, a typical kitchen renovation may take 1-3 months for design depending on complexity and adjacencies, then an additional 2-6 months for construction. You will receive a customized schedule tailored specifically to your project’s scope and site conditions.

During the design process, we gather details about your project, lifestyle, and goals. An initial budget is developed after the conceptual design is created, with your active input guiding the process. Once the architectural and interior designs are finalized, we can establish a final, accurate budget. It’s important to understand that project costs cannot be determined until we have a full understanding of your design and all its details.
