Buckeye Residence

The original intent of this remodel was to provide affordable basics. Several DIY additions and renovations complicated the floor plan, while the basic finishes became old and outdated. What was left was a home that lacked charm, style, function, and quality. Yikes! So a three-step process was created.

• First, redesign the floor plan, creating privacy where privacy was needed while opening up the soul of the home (open kitchen and HUGE vaults).
• Second, create a personality through material design for the home (new stucco and exterior arches/woodwork indicated a European Cottage).
• Third, execute the finishes and construction so that both style and quality prevailed (check!).

The transformation this home went through was vast, and with the HGTV camera crew following our every move, this Fort Collins ugly duckling truly found its beauty!
