The English Homestead

Built in Fort Collins, CO during the 1960s with some mid-century flair, yet combined with simplistic, traditional undertones. Further, several generations of remodelers left this home without a sense of self.

Quietly appointing a traditionally inspired design backdrop while mixing in clean, iconic pieces reminds us of an English homestead. The basics with a sense of history and establishment, yet no fuss. The floor plan opened up, but not too much. The kitchen is simple, yet saturated with an eye-catching blue. And the exterior has been adorned with classic details, then painted a monochromatic gray. This dance between tradition, simplicity, and iconic has finally given this home a sense of place.
